Ex Vogue Fashion Features Editor - Mrs Press

Clare Press is the former features director of Vogue Australia. She loves a good vintage (that would be wine and women of substance, as well as clothes). She loves 1930s silk chemises, French knickers, fragile kimonos, champagne breakfasts and ancient lace. She loves books and words, and 50s fashion illustrations, and marzipan. She loves scents and sensibility, and dressing tables covered in little glass bottles. And a good chic sleep. Oh, and she loves Mr. Press, of course..

Mrs. Press is a thoroughly modern girl to be sure, but that doesn’t mean she doesn’t like things to be done properly. That means silk knickers at all times, and the perfect satinslip to make a dress look the bee’s knees. Truth be told, she often wears them with nothingmuch else. Our girl loves to loll about at home dressed to thrill. She loves parties too, of course. Who doesn’t? Sometimes it feels as if life is one big party. Thank heavens for the divine new Mrs. Press candles – we all need to relax sometimes, no?
